Are you drawn by rapidly changing technology? We are experiencing massive technology change occurring exponentially faster than we can anticipate. How can we prepare for this widespread change?
TAKE IT SLOW
For your best self-care, take a few minutes each day to read, watch, plan, and experiment with something new. Learning small bits at a time will help you process the information. It will be less overwhelming and you will have time to think about how you can apply these to your business. There is so much to take in and keep up with, we could not possibly absorb everything at once.
APPLY TO WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW
Just doing a bit of homework will leave you more prepared for the future. Many new technology tools and apps also work together. If you already use one of them, consider adding the other tool to what you already know. There are some time-saving apps. Saving time may be the simplest and perhaps the most valuable application that most people relate to. For other apps, learning what questions will help us get the best output is critical. When we understand the questions needed, the result will be outstanding output.
BASE YOUR APPROACH ON HAVING SOME FUN
Beyond trying something new, put fun and enjoyment before the thought of “this is something I have to do”. Life is too short to be too serious. There is a genuine sense of accomplishment when we figure out how to apply to everyday life, both business and personal.
The most important self-care benefit is the ease we create when we take small steps. It is self-care we need to move through this time. Embrace the massive change we are experiencing and continue your enjoyment. The opportunities are so diverse, something will appeal to all.
