“I was growing out my bangs and needed a comfortable yet stylish and professional headband that would hold hair away from my face whilst working with patients. I had been using my eyeglasses because traditional headbands had always given me headaches – but I needed them to read! I knew there had to be a better option, and when I couldn’t find one, I decided to create it.”

Influencer marketing has helped Zazzy Bandz’s popularity to boom over the last couple of years – and it all started with one review.
“We had a review from an influencer on Etsy, saying ‘The hair goddesses have answered our prayers’. We reached out and asked her to share a video with her Zazzy Bandz. We had additional orders come in almost immediately, so we knew this strategy would work for us.”
Zazzy Bandz has partnered with other key influencers to raise awareness of the product. Just recently, they were flooded with orders after going viral on TikTok. The video currently has eight million views and counting!

“Our purpose is to help the children and the adults who nurture them with resources for education and support for daily needs. My Christian faith guides my path in life and helping others is a core part of the Zazzy Bandz mission. After learning about the orphanage, the final piece of the puzzle fell into place, and I knew we had found our purpose.”
“We receive a report once a month about the children whose home is Peniel Centre – how they are cared for, the education they are receiving, and opportunities afforded. We are trying to be a positive force enabling them to have beautiful and independent lives once they are adults. It is incredibly rewarding work.”
So, what does the future hold for Zazzy Bandz?
“We are blessed with over 30 wholesale buyers in many countries. We are looking to grow our brand in more countries which requires partnering with other entrepreneurs and small businesses. It helps everyone when we succeed in sharing our product and mission.”
They want to grow their domestic market as well.
“We are proud to design and manufacture Zazzy Bandz in the USA. Our long-term vision involves getting our product into brick-and-mortar stores, such as boutiques, beach stores, drugstores, etc.”
