Growing up in poverty as the youngest child of five from a single mother was far from easy. She learned from an early age the power of perseverance and the impact confidence can have on achieving success and escaping the cycle of poverty. Her journey has not been easy and for years of her life she was powerfully unconfident due to circumstances she faced as a child. As an adult, she worked to find the solution for regaining confidence because she could feel that her lack of confidence was holding her back in every aspect of her life, including her career. Her journey led her to develop a simple 5-step method for regaining confidence and to write her book, “How to GRASP Confidence & Own Your Power” to help others live fulfilled lives with increased confidence and purpose. She uses her story to inspire and motivate others to action.
Recently, Tara has been featured on the cover of Forbes Morocco as well as the United Business Journal, Fox News inNew York, the Digital Journal, and she has accepted her first TEDx talk in the United Kingdom for 2024. Tara is highly educated, earning her MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as well as earning certificates in Management from The University of Notre Dame, and a certificate in Financial Management from Cornell University. Additionally, Tara is the United States Country Chair for Start-Up Ecosystems for the G100 Mission Million where she uses her position to elevate and support female entrepreneurs across the United States.
